The Earth----A living water planet

So far the Earth is the only known planet with living creatures.

Ocean plays a very important factor for the Earth to be the livable environment. Ocean mediates the temperature for the Earth. The Earth is the only planet known to any quantity of water, oxygen, and land to support life and probably that is why we are living on the Earth now.

Radius of the Earth is 6376 kilometers and the equator is larger. Mass of the Earth 6x1024 kilometers. 3/4 of the Earth is composed by ocean and 1/4 is composed by the land. The average distance from Sun is about 150 million kilometers. We assume the distance as 1 and use it as the unit to measure the bodies. The time for the Earth to revolve around the Sun is one year; the time for the Earth to rotate is one day, one Earth Day In 1912, Austrian Scientist, Alfred Wegener, proposed the theory of "Moving Continents" and later American geologist developed it as "Plate Tectonics." "Plate Tectonics" can be used to explain the formation of mountains and the reasons to occur earthquakes. Earth's surface activities only can be seen on the Earth.
