Apollo
Plan(1963 ~ 1972): Apollo plan was the lunar landing plan operated by NASA from 1963 to 1072. The primary objectives were to send men to the moon and return to the earth safety. During the period, six spacecrafts, Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17, had achieved their goals given in different missions. Apollo 7 and 9 were lunar testing modules and they did not transmit information on the Moon; Apollo 8 and 10 tested all the equipment while orbiting the moon and sent the photos of lunar images back to the earth. Apollo 13 due to malfunction failed to launch the moon . Unfortunately, the incident caused the death of three astronauts in the US for the first time. |
